Here we will share developments in SAS - drawn from feedback from schools using the product and designed to inform improvements to be made in the coming months.
Some of the areas for us to consider are: All schools are finding that the increased expectations are leading to a picture in which fewer children are currently at ARE when assessed alongside SAS. However, we accept this is part of the process of 'raising the bar' and is already leading to increased expectations.
We are looking for schools to share simple data for us to get a picture of attainment across all schools using SAS.
Writing Pre-Y1 steps and Year 1 steps could be adjusted to provide a better sequence of learning.
